Sports Day!
(Wow. This is really a belated entry!)
2 weeks ago, Sarah had her first ever Sports Day. We were really curious on what a bunch of 2-3 year olds would do during sports day!
There were 6 of them in Sarah’s team, and each of them had to fix 2 different body parts (drawn on hard paper) to an incomplete real-life size boy image on a board. Sarah was assigned to fix the boy’s feet (coz she’s the shortest i guess!). All the parents there cheered when each of them ran to the board, especially when a child’s parents started to cheer their kid by the name!!! So the whole spectators cheered them too. I was so afraid Sarah was going to chicken out with the amount of crowd around her (she’s shy around ppl, *surprised*? ), even me myself kept my distance from her while taking her pics, worried that she’s going to go cebek when she saw me (oh, she hate being photographed nowadays!). But surprisingly, sempat dia tease her daddy when she saw her Daddy was taking a video of her!!! haha…cheeky girl! She wasn’t conscious at all when the whole crowd were cheering “Qaisarah! Qaisarah! Qaisarah!”, wahhh„ really a Malaysian sportsman, need to be cheered baru ada semangat eh?!
All 6 children were winners! they received their Gold Medal by their principal right after the race! Hooray! I really wanted to post the video of the race, but unfortunately, UNFORTUNATELY, the video went corrupt as mr.Daddy was taking the video using his iPHONE, thus at the very moment of Sarah’s turn during the race, *KRING*KRINGGGGG* , the video SHUT OFF to give way for incoming call!!!! *arghhhhhh** tension tension. please mr.Daddy, buy that flip camcorder fast before we miss anymore important events!!!
Here’re some pics from the race (oh i wish i knew those ppl/parents with DSLR/p&s cams who took pictures that time, i’m not satisfied with my collection!!).
Semua adalah pemenang, tiada yang pengalah! [sic]. Heh..
